I think it's gonna look sweeter than a black one on the Music Man-

This placement may look wierd compared to a Fender's,
but believe me,
I had it taped and untaped in a hundred places before I settled on this one
and *gulp* drilled this morning.

I used two different bits:
One for the pilot hole
and a slightly larger one just through the pickguard so not to stress it with the screw.

As it turns out,
after all the trial and error of looking for the "sweet spot",
it matches the Steinberger's thumbrest placement almost exactly.

I should have checked there first!
Duh...

Thanks Pete for once again helping me spend my money...

It looks great Gonz but I'm wondering if the placement is cause or effect from the Steiny [smilie=cheeky-smiley-025.gif]

I've said it 10K X already and now 10K + 1 ...

Ned Steinberger is a freakin GENIUS.

.... and a good part of that geniusness is disregard
for distinction between cause and effect. Wholism.
