PJ P'ups w/ Pre for Swap

I have a DiMarzio P/J set, from the 80s I believe, installed presently in my modified '83 Hamer Cruisebass. It's harnessed-in with an Artec SE-2A preamp circuit. I'm looking to lose the whole mess, simply because I dislike having to change the battery. I'll realize I've left it plugged in during a break, and here comes the blurry death of my sound... I need "less"...

I'd like to trade for a Seymor Duncan passive P/J set, or a similar set that's got a nice phat, low-end bump to it. Nothing mid-rangey or brash. Any reasonable offer/idea will be considered.

Thanks for looking in.
