Vintage G&L SB2 JJ - the best "jazz" bass ever

Postby ghiadub » Tue Dec 04, 2012 3:54 pm

This kills me to sell this but I am in purge mode and since I moved mostly over to short scale basses, this one gets no love.

Looking for a good home, this will eat any passive and most active basses for dinner. Amazing clear sound from this slab body.

IIRC, this neck body combo is not the original pairing, but does match up in year.

It has a Detuner on the E, I don't have the original G&L stamped E tuner or the original case, but it will come in a nice gig bag.

The bass has seen a lot of play, and has wear on the edges of the slab body as well as the pickup/thumb rest.

600 shipped unless you have under 300 posts, then it is $650.

and of course, bass porn;
