So I just took a job replicating the sheehan WIFE bass.

Ill post pics and such on here as I figured you guys might like to see the eveloution of a recreation.

I think you need to hurry and post pics. I have considered doing a Wife bass myself.

still waiting on the body to arrive, and im preparing to head to the nashville amp expo, after next weekend the WIFE gets FULL FOCUS!, so the pics stickers (before and after aging) and all will be posted!

Progress report?

I've been wanting to do a WIFE replica myself but just don't have the spare bucks right now to gather parts.

Are you using a Telecaster Bass neck (square heel) or are you shaping the headstock on a regular Precision neck?

Wea re doing an accurate replica with the square heel and all, also I think we hvae bought the LAST of the decals that make this thing work... Im going to scan them and hopefully be able to reproduce them for future projects.

That's for sure. I recently found an old BP magazine that had a picture of Billy when he was about 18-19 yrs old with the Wife, and it still had it's original sunburst finish and original neck still on it. The signature EB pickup was present too.
