I can hear it, and I can see you. Hell, you even got an intro. Nice [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

I was half expecting your front man to say "The band was our density"

Very cool! And talk about some major plugging for your gig! [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

The mix on the first song was A LOT of Dave, followed by Mike, then Jay, and then Howard; I had to really listen to pick out the bass and viola parts. The second tune was better. Dave was still most prominent, but I could hear you and Jay better. That's just some mix critique. The band sounded GOOD! Cool gig Howard.

Thanks fellas. It must be my crappy computer speakers. I can barely hear the bass.

#1, That is a VERY cool little gig you got going there. must be a blast

#2, the anchor is hawt

#3, overall that was ten times better than most of the news hour performances I've done/seen. Nice job!

#4, always better to have vocals on TV, maybe should have played the second tune first

#5, always wear an untucked shirt on TV

#6, ALWAYS

Agreed. That was our original intent. We have a lot of original numbers with vocals but they were either too long or too short for the time slot.
#5, always wear an untucked shirt on TV

Was my shirt tucked? OMG - I hope not

Nice job. Not much bass till the second tune and pretty thin. I guess the sound man was mixing to make room for more kick drum. You know.... to fill in the bass freqs. [smilie=tosser.gif]

Actually we had to bring our own mixer. He just took a line out from our board. I set everything up, then he put on a pair of headphones and said everything was balanced. After the first tune he came out and said turn up the bass a little - which I did. Oh well. We got on TV. The bass is just there for looks anyway

The cute little anchor chic loved it. Said she'd never seen one that big..........

Oh I was just eluding to today's trend to mix all kick and no bass. Considering how much time you had and what you did y'all pulled it off well.

I know what you mean about the kick drum thing Peter. No offense taken. I couldn't hear the mix (no monitors in the studio), so I figured it'd be a train wreck. Things worked out better than I thought they would.

That's a great gig you have Howard....very, very cool. I'd kill to have something like that going on.

And from one doghouse guy to another, you represented very well....nobody knows how tough that is until you try it, eh? [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]
