I forgot how much I like acoustic string bands.... gots to find one to play in around these parts.


thems were some fancy chords on that first tune: I think if you look in the string band rule book you'll see that you aren't supposed to play past the 5th fret or with anything more complicated than a minor 7th chord.......

we'll let this one slide :-)

Thanks for the props guys. It's a fun band. We only play what we like and we do some adventurous stuff. I'm blessed to know these guys and to have been playing with them for over 30 years. The first tune was written by the middle guitarist. I did come up with the flat 5 change on the bridge though.

A lot of times I feel good about my playing and then I watch (or listen intently) to a jazz player and I feel like a chump.
