Solo bass and work/performance blog

Postby Treehugger » Fri Oct 09, 2009 5:33 pm

I have been throwing down a blog documenting my solo bass writing, my band and performance stuff. The first three document the struggle I am having finishing a solo piece and the 4th is a slowed down version of What's Going On with my band Silver Spoon. The 5th is a stripped down version of a piece I wrote called Trail of Tears. If you are interested stop by at www.russmodernbass.net/blog Eventually, there will be some lessons up there. When I started it I thought contributing to it would be simple, but it is tough on my schedule.

Harley, I lurk here quite a bit and love what you have done and the articles are great, take care,
Russ
I eat basses like you for breakfast.

Looks like a pretty good setup on the site. I wish you luck with it. I was trying the blog thing for a while and kept slipping into a lot of whining and bitching. And, no was reading it anyway. :) Yours looks a bit more focused and purposeful.
