Black Joe Louis & The Honeybears After one listen I'll have to say that I'm pretty impressed. A lot of old school and some heavy James Brown influence.

I've been raving about these kids from Austin for months, it's like if James recorded at STAX instead of MoTown! The constant screaming tone from the singer gets a bit old over a whole record, but the band is just flat out AWESOME.

That dude is playing one strange guitar. A Telecaster body, Humbuckers, Gibson style vol/tone array, and a Strat neck. Odd.

That's a Tele Deluxe. I used to play one back in the 70's when I was a guitard (insert shame here)
