heard bit's and pieces of his latest album. Nice stuff for an old schooler like moi ...
I used to look at my dog Smokey and think, "If you were a little smarter, you could tell me what you're thinking," and he'd look back at me like he was saying, "If you were a little smarter, I wouldn't have to." - Fred Jungclaus

Great album with old school production from T-Bone Burnett. Vince Esquire, a guitar slinger from Maui plays the lead on the single Just Another Rider.

Big fan of Allman and T-Bone. Sprinkle in some Dr. John and It gets good to me. Been hearing good things about this record but not heard it yet either.

Caught a bit of an interview with him on XM/Sirius "Bluesville" channel about the making of the record, along with a few cuts from the record. Good stuff [smilie=music-smiley-005.gif]

Nashville cat, Dennis Crouch. He recently worked with the Robert Plant/ Alison Krauss project and an impressive boatload of others.

Gregg wanted to use his band but T-Bone talked him into using his regulars. I saw Gregg's band with Jammott, they killed!

I nearly killed myself on a bike once Pete. It wasn't a Harley, but grew up with them. One of my HS friends died on one recently. I understand.

This is a great album. The first song that you can hear in the background, "devil got my woman" by Skip James is one of my faves.

Sidebar: I watched a movie recently (Ghost World) where a teenage goth chick was obsessed with this song. I felt the same way when I heard Bonnie Rait play it.
