A Little Diddy, From Back In The Day...

It's all about the stage, groove, recordings, events, videos, solos and chops right here.

A Little Diddy, From Back In The Day...

Postby harleyyy » Sat Jun 23, 2012 11:52 am

This is a tune I did back in 82' with a band called Rainbow Chase. It was recorded at Rendezvous Studios in Honolulu. We entered a contest sponsored by Miller beer. It made the compilation album (10 songs from 170 bands that entered) and had plenty of airplay on 98 Rock along with a cool concert at the University of UH. It brings back some great memories. 30 years ago, really? Thought I'd share...

Smart man, but you are safe, all my spandex (one shirt) has been retired for quite sometime. Here's why...

Awesome! I love the visceral connection between the music and the actual medium it was released one. I have a few 45 comps and B side records from past projects that while I have them xfered to AAC, dropping that vinyl on my spinning turn table just sounds better. [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif] Anyhow, ya man it's crazy how time flies when you're havin' fun.
