This guy has a great URB sound. From what I see, it is totally acoustic. I don't see and amp or even a pickup.

But check out Mr. PC here! Look at those strings moving.

Brubeck Quartet 1961 Jackie Gleason playing Take 5

Still think Joe Morello is one of the finest swing drummers to pick up sticks....

More of the amazing Joe Morello, guaranteed!

Watch his solo, especially his foot.
This will make you wonder where Boham came up with his "Rubber Foot".

Terrible quality, but I think the mini cam mic blowing up just ads to the vibe, lol. What makes it really fun is that this is the first time this drummer (Michael "McDrums" MacDonald) and I played a whole show together.

And a note to the board master: Why can't we embed youtube videos here?

Still, some of my favorite slap clips, Gonzo. Absolutely love it when you get down low on the neck and just let it loose - undeniable groove.

I dig Marcus playing "Run For Cover" on BP TV. [smilie=cool-smiley-031.gif]
Here are some of my favorite youtube videos:
TV program called "Jazz Casual" hosted by Ralph J. Gleason (Jazz critic and co-founder of RollingStone magazine)
The John Coltrane Quartet (Coltrane, McCoy Tyner on piano, Elvin Jones on drums and Jimmy Garrison on bass). If you don't have the time to watch 'em all, check out the third (nice bass solo at the end)
