EB Bass? New model

A choice, not an echo.

Thunderbucker Ranch pups would go nicely with one of these

Jason Lollar makes a Thunderbird pickup (based on the ’64). I had two of those installed (they fit perfectly) and also had new pots and tone cap installed as well. I went for the original spec pots and cap - 500k volume, 250k tone with a .047 cap (orange drop). HUGE difference! I’m completely thrilled with this bass now. The only downside is that was an expensive upgrade.

Awesome! I bet it looks sweet with chrome Tbird pickups. Got any pics to make us drool? [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

My questionable photo skills aside...

I went with the Lollars because he offers black chrome covers an an option. I didn't want to change the look too much.

Looks good, Tom [smilie=grinning-smiley-003.gif]

Yanno this makes me kinda crave a Victory bass. Always liked those. [smilie=fun_84.gif]

Of course I need another bass like I need a hole in the head [smilie=smilie_kopf.gif]
