Need a case for a 1964 Thunderbird II

A choice, not an echo.

Need a case for a 1964 Thunderbird II

Postby cbgates » Mon Jun 20, 2011 6:26 pm

Hi!

I just finishing refurbing a 64 Thunderbird II, and now I need a case. Will any Thunderbird case work? Are the Thunderbirds the same dimensions as the current Thunderbird IVs? The bass is ready to play, but I don't want it to leave the house unless its riding in a hardshell case.

Thanks!

I thought I read a thread a while back that a vintage T-bird would NOT fit in an Epi case... I think the headstocks on the vintage are bigger...
I have a '64 as well, and I lucked out & scored a near mint newer deluxe Gibby case for it on eBay ... might want to get measurements before buying...
