There was a Wal made with a Precision body, so I would guess it to be very possible.

Yep. Looks like a custom body. Everything else looks legit. Are the electronics intact?

we'll see, going to check it out today... the guy's selling it for what seems like super cheap (around $600) so i have a feeling something's up... either that or the poor guy doesn't know what he has :D

so here's the deal... the body is custom made by a guy here in zagreb who's been making instruments for 25 years.. but the neck, electronics and bridge were (supposedly) a gift from Pete Stevens to a now-deceased well-known (in Croatia) Croatian bassist nearly 30 years ago.....

this story aside, the bass plays nicely and sounds quite good (i've no experience whatsoever with wal basses so i can't compare it to the real deal) and the neck is in perfect condition... the electronics are passive with push-pull pots and it gives a decent range of sounds..

the question is... is it worth the 600 bucks?

If those are all original Wal parts, yes.

Judging by the wear on the body above the E string it looks to be a player.
